SWWT Anthology of Short Stories 2023

All current society members are welcome to submit a short story into the SWWT’s Anthology for 2023.


This year's theme:


SHADOWS AND REFLECTIONS











Submissions must include:


  • The title of your submission…
  • Word count: Up to 750 words. (NO MORE)
  • Font: Times New Roman and Size: 12
  • Single spacing
  • Your author name
  • Submitted in Word Format via email to: Andrea Sindorff.sinbin1960@gmail.com
  • It must also include….
  • Your short biography of up to 50 words to be included with your submission including….
  • A personal photo of you, (note; this will be published in black and white.)

Note: There have been some changes to the guidelines “vs” some reports in Stylus. This is due to the Anthology Committee taking time to refine the Anthology guidelines AND to be able to present a quality publication. 


We look forward to recieving submissions for the society's Anthology.  Also, it is anticipated this publication will be launched in November 2023. Please refer to the Stylus Magazine for further and up-coming information.




Also, just a friendly reminder that if you have not renewed your membership for the 2023/2024 financial year that you may do so now.


The ways to do this are:


1. You can pay your membership (new or renewal) fee of $25.00 directly into the SWWT bank account.

Very important: Please ensure that your name and the word membership appear on the deposit line.


2. Or pay cash at a meeting fairly soon (usually the first Monday of the month at the Launceston Library on the second floor.)

Once payment has started, you will be emailed our Stylus Magazine regularly as well as other organization information. Please note that cheques are being phased out. Please disregard this section of this email if you have already paid your subs.


3. According to the Commonwealth Bank staff, cheques are still being accepted. So if you use that way of payment, please send a $25.00 cheque written out to: The Society of Women Writers, Tasmania, Incorporated and mail it to: Mrs Kathy Duff, Membership Officer, PO Box 446 Kings Meadows, Tasmania 7249
